Kennedy Mitchell (born October 25, 1971) is a currency trader and author of ''Single Stock Futures: An Investor's Guide''.〔John Wiley & Sons, 2003. ISBN 0-471-26762-7 (Library of Congress listing )〕 Mitchell was credited by ''Barron's Magazine'' in the 1990s with developing several new trading strategies that were previously not available prior to the introduction of single stock futures in the United States. ==Life and career== Mitchell was born in New Haven, Connecticut and was educated at the Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut, following which he attended the American College of Switzerland. His first job in finance was at Coast Capital Management, a hedge fund in Boston as a junior portfolio manager, working primarily with currencies. His next position was at Meridian Asset Management in San Francisco from 1997-2003, where he again traded currencies as a portfolio manager. He next worked as a portfolio manager at Graham Capital in Rowayton, Connecticut.
